Height: 157cm (about 5’2″)
Profile: Because she’s a nice and carefree person, people who get to know her often wind up having the urge to take care of her. Although her favorite phrase is “always be prepared,” she tends to be rather careless and forgetful.
She lost her father in a fire as a child, and this summer, she lost the only other person she could call “family”: her mother. Having learned of her father’s house being left to her by inheritence, she uses the summer break to visit Hemidzuka.
She is particularly fond of Japanese cuisine, samurai dramas and adages.

Role: Girl from Kei’s dreams
Height: 160cm (about 5’3″)
Profile: The mysterious girl that appears in Kei’s dreams and begins to speak to her as she comes closer to her father’s house. Accompanied by swarms of pale blue butterflies that shine as if gathered from the light of the moon.

Role: Girl that had settled in at Kei’s Father’s house
Height: 134cm (about 4’5″)
Profile: Profile: Perhaps in the spirit of her family tradition, “survival of the fittest,” a girl of young body and stature on a journey by herself. Even at an age nearly half of Kei’s, she is remarkably level-headed. Currently living her tough-as-nails lifestyle with her partner, the white fox Obana, in Kei’s father’s uninhabited house.

浅間 サクヤ (Asama Sakuya)
Role: Reportage writer and photographer
Height: 175cm (about 5’9″)
Profile: A beautiful woman of unknown age who appears to be in her mid-twenties, with a distinctly non-Japanese style of living. As Kei’s late mother’s best friend, for whatever reason, she has taken it upon herself to look after Kei’s well-being. She is frank and humorous, with the composure of an elder sister, but also has an “old-timer” side to her befitting (?) of her age. She likes alcoholic beverages and salty things. She dislikes Uzuki.
Sakuya’s Seiyuu: 真田 アサミ (Sanada Asami)

千羽 烏月 (Senba Uzuki)
Role: Oni Slayer
Height: 170cm (about 5’7″)
Profile: A girl with beautiful posture, conduct, and black hair, who came to Hemidzuka on the same train as Kei. Carrying an ancient katana – Ito – within a golden sheath, she is thought by those at the hotel to be connected with the Ohashirasama festival that will be happening soon in Hemidzuka.

ノゾミ・ミカゲ
Nozomi & Mikage
ノゾミ・ミカゲ (Nozomi & Mikage)
Role: The Twin Oni
Height: 142cm (about 4’8″) (same)
Profile: When Kei came to Hemidzuka, these twin oni appeared at her side with the ringing of bells. They hold the power to manipulate dreams, and are the direct antagonists of Yumei.
Nozomi & Mikage’s Seiyuu (for both): 小林 恵美 (Kobayashi Megumi)
Notable Appearances: Appeared as mostly minor characters in Jigoku Shoujo, GTO, Seven of Seven, Mahoromatic, and as a playable (?) character in the game Zettai Zetsumei Toshi 2.
